One of my new favorite dishes to make (and eat) are these four ingredient turkey sliders. They're moist, flavourful and easy to assemble - which is a godsend after a long day at work. We like to grill them but they can also be popped into the oven just as easily.
Here's how to make them...
- Sauté a handful of finely chopped red onion in olive oil. In a large bowl, combine the onion with 1 pound of ground turkey. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of chopped fresh thyme and 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard; season with salt & pepper. Combine well with a fork. Gently form mixture into four small (or two huge) patties. Using your thumb, make a small indentation in the center of each pattie.
- Heat grill to medium-high heat. Grill sliders for 5 to 7 minutes. Turn over; grill until cooked through, about another 5 to 7 minutes.
- Or you can bake them at 450 degrees on a baking sheet until sizzling, 10 to 12 minutes.
- Serve with lettuce & cranberry mayo (so delish - just equal amounts cranberry sauce & mayo).
Bon appétit, friends! I hope you like these as much as we do.

These look yummy! No cranberry sauce here in Denmark, but there will be cranberries in a few weeks (just in time for American Thanksgiving!) and so I make my own. I will definitely be giving these a try! Since they look like hamburgers my kid will probably eat them, too, which is always a plus!
ReplyDeleteHi Belle! Instead of cranberry sauce, you can substitute lingonberry sauce (IKEA sells it). Hope your sweet little family enjoys them.(:
DeleteMmm...I am such a mustard fiend!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Amy! I have 'several' jars of the stuff in the fridge. One can never have too much mustard. (;
DeleteHi Dajana. I am Ada - nice to meet you.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through "Found in Your Closet" and I love that it's filled with all kinds of things.
The food above looks yummy especially the grilled peppers. I love peppers, especially red ones, and my favorite way to have peppers is to grill them. The ground turkey patties sound good, yummy and healthy, too. =)
Please stop by my page and check out what I am about. Thank You, Ada. =)
