deetz on clinton kelly's visit to calgary!

Here’s what you need to know to get your stylish arse down to Calgary to see Mr. Kelly:
  • Clinton will appear at Styling Your Life, which runs June 18 from 1 to 4: 30 p.m. at the Telus Convention Centre, with an after party at Fashion Central from 5 to 6 p.m.
  • Tickets for the main event are $99. Or you can pay $159 for VIP tickets that include reserved seating and the after party, where you can meet Kelly at a book signing.
  • Funds raised go to the Canadian Women's Foundation (dedicated to improving the lives of girls and women).
  • For info and to purchase tickets, visit studiogorgeous.com.

Friends, I am very, very tempted to dish out the $159 so I can meet this stylish and witty fella.

Now, who’s up for a good ol' road trip to visit our southernly neighbours? I’ll bring the snacks.

Dajana

p.s. I'm in Calgary for my first ever indoor soccer tournament this weekend (yay!) but will be back soon with a post about the yummy food we indulged in while holidaying in Playa Chiquita.
Happy weekend friends!

  1. Thanks for the sweet note you left on my blog and it sounds like you do plenty to keep busy and stay positive!! I checked out your CR pictures and loved them all, in fact, the colors throughout reminded me of my time in Nicaragua. Ahh, to go back again...

  2. Hi Dea! You are most welcome for the note - your post was poignant and relevant so I had to respond. Frankly, I never understood the need to put others down. My friend sent me a great quote today about this topic: "Would you believe that one of the biggest impediments one has to discovering his or her own seeds, these days, is one's fascination with the gardens of others?"

And Nicaragua sounds like a great ‘off the beaten’ path kind of getaway too. What part of the country did you visit?

  3. Word on the "street" is you have an awesome blog. I'm here to attest to the fact that you do. Anyone who likes Clinton is a friend of mine. I just wish they would create a style show with just him! Clinton needs no co-hosts.

  4. Hi Hannah! Thanks so much for your bon mots - very sweet of you to visit AND to comment.

I'm entirely smitten with Clinton (and his pocket squares) and wish he were my bosom buddy. And I 100% agree with you - he doesn't need co-hosts. Have you heard some of the zingers that have come out of his mouth lately? The dude is solid.

BTW, I just love that "street" you're referring to. She's an absolute doll! ;)
