anthropologie: ikat frequencies shirtdress

This is one of my favourite Anthro pieces from this year. Perfect for when you're standing blurry-eyed and half asleep in front of your wardrobe on a Monday morning wanting to feel effortlessly chic in a hurry. I've been living in it this summer.

When it's a tad chilly, I pair it with skinny jeans and on balmy days, I only need to add sandals and I'm out the door. It's nice to have such an easy and versatile piece in my closet--and you could just stuff it in a suitcase for traveling.

Anthro has added three new prints to the mix but I stand by the original blue motif. The vibrant blue makes me feel like I'm vacationing in the Mediterranean. And that's important when, in reality, I'm smack dab in the middle of the Canadian prairies with neither a body of water nor European vacation in sight. (;

  1. This dress looks great on you Dajana! I'm not a big fan of the other colors either. I've seen this dress on a couple other bloggers and this color motif is very eye catching.

    1. I also like it paired up with the red skinnies, C. And thanks to Joe Fresh and Material Girl at the Bay, I was able to purchase some green and white skinnies, too. Cheap & chic!

      p.s. Good eye, lady. Scotty and I took a sunset stroll down the Victoria Promenade one night. And of course, I made him take pics of me. Ha!

    1. It is SO versatile but alas, summer is on its last waves and this is one piece I won't be able to carry into the fall. So, I'll just have to wear the heck out of it for the next four weeks.

      Thanks for visiting, Courtney!

    1. Thanks, Gloria! I can't believe I was once afraid of wearing colour. So glad I'm open to change.

      BTW, I'm lovin' Little White Whale. (:
