a summer wedding

My childhood friend Jacquie married the love of her life on Saturday. It couldn't have been a more perfect day for an outdoor wedding. The festivities began at a charming downtown park and ended at a popular wine shop - so fitting for my Malbec loving friend and her Argentinian groom.

Congratulations Jacquie and Nacho! We're so happy for you.

    1. Thanks, Courtney! It was chic, casual and so much fun. I had never been to such an intimate wedding before and I loved it. You can actually get to know the other guests and have plenty of time to chill with the bride and groom - brilliant!

    1. It was such a cute wedding, Kira. I fell in love with Jacquie's fascinator-like headband. It was a super find at Red Ribbon on High Street. Makes me kind of want to have another wedding. I think I'd be much more chic this time around. (;

    1. Hi Val! Jacquie and her new hubs will be living in Argentina, where he's from, for a year but they'll be back in Edmonton next fall.

      I can't wait to try his Argentine asado! Yum.
